The bar fits maybe 20 people, while the majority of the space is taken up by small candlelit tables and a floor level area for jazz bands. Seven nights a week, you’ll have the pleasure of watching Kansas City’s top jazz performers work their magic while practically sitting at your table. Jardine’s is also a gem of a restaurant with a good-sized eclectic menu. Everything on the menu is made to order, including the salad dressings.
Enjoy inventive appetizers before treating yourself to fresh seafood specials, thick juicy steaks and chicken or pasta dishes in large portions as you relax in the casual, friendly atmosphere. At times, it seems as though everyone knows each other at Jardine’s, probably because their bartenders and wait staff always make you feel at home from the moment you walk in until you pull yourself away.

Photographer, DOUG HAMER at Jardine's
Well known entertainment and event photographer, Doug Hamer has been attending many performances at Jardine's lately, capturing the artists and atmosphere in our establishment.
Doug is a nationally recognized photographer with over 30 years experience in the areas of commercial photography, photojournalism and fine art photography. Since 1989 he has been the district photographer for the Metropolitan Community Colleges responsible for publication, portrait and event photography. He has won over 300 national and regional awards for his work.
Doug comes to Jardine's with decades of professional experience and is a jazz lover himself. With the likes of Anita Baker , the Lyric Opera, and the Kansas City Ballet under his belt, Doug's stunningly beautiful work can be found in most major Kansas City publications and websites.
Jardine's manager, Carrie Brockman says, "We are very fortunate to have a photographer of Doug's caliber. He's a solid professional, lots of fun, and he fits this crowd".
